Phil & Vicki roast and sell a truly Kiwi style of coffee (i.e. great flavour, fresh and fairtrade) and are frequently sponsors and guests at our events. They joined us again to sell Bullet Coffee, a great "morning after pick me up" for the mad festive season ahead. Vicki & Phil donated some of their Bullet coffee and a coffee maker to the raffle. Bullet Café can be found at Snow & Rock in Covent Garden, and they were finalists in the Time Out coffee awards 2008. This year they have opened The Roastery in Clapham, already proving a hit with South of the River Kiwis looking for a flat white with their Eggs Benedict brunch. The Roastery |
Paul and Karen were with us for a third time; they source high quality, low chemical body & cosmetic products from many countries through their company Appuru. Last year they introduced us to a new NZ range of skincare called 'Antipodes' which is based on organic avocado oil. They also stock Trilogy and Pai. For the raffle, Karen & Paul donated range of Antipodes body and beauty products. They have a retail store in Pimlico, at 43 Moreton Street, London SW1V 2NY and website sales |
Johnny's interest in pounamu took shape during an extended trip to New Zealand, where he was intrigued by the spirituality and message behind the traditional carvings. Johnny has also learnt to carve pounamu on regular trips to New Zealand, where he visits his whanau. He runs a stall at Camden Lock Market if you missed him at the drinks evening. Johnny gave us a native NZ semi precious stone pendant towards the raffle. |

Comvita are attended again, and Claire shared a range of honey related products from New Zealand including the Huni body product range. Claire and her colleagues Ruth & Nicole donated a UMF10+ Manuka Honey 500g and also a Huni Skincare Gift Pack to the charity raffle. Comvita is the leading producer of NZ manuka honey & propolis products. |
Long time promoters of New Zealand bands in the UK, Spacific also has a sideline in selling New Zealand music CDs, both online and at events. Jasper joined us to sell CDs of NZ music and will provide our background music. Jasper donated Dave Dobbyn's Anotherland CD to the raffle on the night.

The Kiwi Diary has been produced since 2004; a beautiful book which reflects the uniqueness of New Zealand's art, culture, environment and heritage. Lucky Devil will be selling the Kiwi Diary online in the UK, or you can order for NZ friends on their own site. Emily from Lucky Devil joined us to sell the Kiwi Diary, and donated one to the raffle.

Leizydays Natasha & Michele make harakeke (NZ flax) products. They sold a range of organic paper products, cards, and albums. For the raffle, they donated an album & 2 Christmas cards. |
One of the highlights of the Winter Drinks is the raffle, which consisted of prizes, as listed, donated by the stallholders. All the money raised from the raffle goes to our charity account which is used for helping worthy causes with a NZ/UK interest.
